Andrew called the meeting to order, and Joe K. led the prayer. We then recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the Four-Way Test.
Special thanks to John Hanna for dropping off donuts even though he couldn’t stay for the meeting.
The meeting was intended to be a board meeting, but since there was no quorum of board members, a club business meeting was held instead.
Club Updates:
- Joe Kraft reviewed the investments to date. Andrew indicated that in the next board meeting, we would review the investments in more detail, given the current financial market
- On May 7th,h we will induct Debra and Tianyi into the club. We encourage all members to attend if possible.
Speaker:
- We had Peter Toomey and Neal Silversten from Clague Playhouse present the history and upcoming events at the playhouse.
- They say they are the best-kept secret in Westlake.
- 2027 will be their 100th year.
- June 27th, 28th, and 29th, there will be a one-woman show dedicated to how to navigate when someone close to you is living with Alzheimer’s. It promises to be touching, informative, and at times funny.
- Always looking for volunteer ushers.
