Our speaker today was Melissa Betts, Executive Director of the Village Project in Bay Village. Village Project is dedicated to working together as a community to provide nourishing meals and extended support to families fighting cancer. Their collective efforts aim to alleviate the burden on these families, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need during such challenging times. The current client meal delivery areas are Avon, Avon Lake, Bay Village, Rocky River, and Westlake.
Melissa gave a very informative and emotional talk about their organization and all they do. They serve over 300 meals each week and expect to serve over 9000 meals this year. To learn more about Village Project, visit their website at www.ourvillageproject.com.
