Our speaker today was Lydia Gadd, Director of Westlake Community Services, where they are committed to creating a welcoming and
supportive environment for all residents, especially our 50+ community. Whether you’re looking for engaging programs, volunteer
opportunities, or essential resources, they are here to help you stay connected, active, and empowered.

The Center has grown considerably since they moved into their new facility next to the Rec Center. One of the most popular areas is the café, which is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:30-3:00. Some of the services offered are the year round food pantry, the Adopt a Family program for Christmas, leaf raking and other outreach opportunities. Our Rotary Club is proud to sponsor the Over 90 program, which is held once a year.

We had time for our happy thought,s and the meeting adjourned at 8:20.
